Tee Time 44 Is Now Open in Georgia’s Lake Country

Golf, Dining, and Entertainment Under One Roof 

The wait is over. Tee Time 44, located at 1027 HWY 44, Suite 400 in Eatonton, is officially open to the public, bringing a new year-round destination for indoor golf, dining, drinks, and entertainment to the Lake Country community. 

Following its September 10 grand opening and ribbon cutting, the family-owned venue in Eatonton is now welcoming guests to experience eight Full Swing simulator bays, a full-service restaurant and bar, golf instruction and a gathering place designed for much more than golf. 

Whether guests want to play a round with friends, work on their game, enjoy dinner and drinks, or simply spend time together, Tee Time 44 was created to offer multiple ways to enjoy the experience under one roof. 

“We’ve been looking forward to this moment for a long time, and we’re incredibly excited to finally welcome the community through our doors,” said Anna Kate Bennett. “We wanted to create a place where people could come together—whether they love golf, are trying it for the first time, want to enjoy a great meal, or are simply looking for a fun place to spend time with family and friends.” 

At the heart of Tee Time 44 are Amy and Bryan Pulliam and their daughter and son-in-law, Anna Kate and Cole Bennett, a local family team whose connection to the community has helped shape the venue from the beginning. Their vision has been to create a destination that feels welcoming, family-friendly, and distinctly local. 

More Than a Place to Play Golf 

Tee Time 44's eight Full Swing simulator bays give golfers the opportunity to play and practice year-round, regardless of the weather. Open play, leagues, private lessons and memberships offer options for experienced golfers as well as newcomers who simply want to give the game a try. 

Golf instruction is led by Cole Bennett, director of golf operations, Mark Gunthorpe, and Lee Miller, all of whom are certified through the GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy. Gunthorpe brings an extensive competitive résumé that includes U.S. Open qualifying, six U.S. Pro Golf Tour wins, multiple tournament victories and course records at Summit Chase, Sea Island and The Oaks. 

But guests don't have to pick up a club to enjoy Tee Time 44. 

The venue's full-service restaurant and bar make it just as easy to stop in for a meal, meet friends for drinks or make Tee Time 44 part of a night out. 

Executive Chef Brett Riccardi brings more than 30 years of restaurant management and catering experience to the kitchen, including 20 years as a Food and Beverage Director in golf and country club settings. His menu features elevated comfort food, with options ranging from shareable appetizers and fresh salads to sandwiches, seafood, pasta and desserts, including signature selections such as the Wagyu smash burger and Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta. 

“My vision was simple: great food, made well. People want a really great burger or fish and chips, a beautiful salad, or salmon served with delicious sides. At Tee Time 44, you can enjoy a great environment, have a great time with friends, and still sit down to a quality meal,” said Riccardi. 

A New Place to Gather in Lake Country 

Beyond golf and dining, Tee Time 44 was created around one central idea: give people another great reason to get together. 

From an afternoon on the simulators to dinner and drinks with friends, family time, lessons, leagues, and group gatherings, the Tee time 44 brings recreation, hospitality, and connection together in one destination. 

“We hope Tee Time 44 becomes one of those places people come back to again and again,” Anna Kate Bennett said. “You might come the first time because you're curious about the golf and come back because you found your favorite menu item, met friends for drinks, or discovered a new way to spend time together. There really is something here for everyone.” 

Tee Time 44 is now open to the general public and does not require a membership. Guests are invited to come experience the simulators, explore the menu, enjoy the bar, and discover their own reason to spend time at Tee Time 44.
